Taco 'Bout a Party: Cinco de Mayo Done Right!

We’re at it again, making celebrations come to LIFE with bright colors, textures, and a whole lot of fun. And this Cinco de Mayo party was one for the books. 

One of our favorite parts of the job is full event styling - from table decor to balloon garlands to photo walls and beyond. While we all have a hand in the decor, Kelsey is the mastermind behind this one and perfectly blended colors and textures to give it a full fiesta feel. A few details about this look:

 

We used emptied veggie cans to hold the bright florals. This fun alternative to a “vase” made sure every angle of the decor had a splash of color. Did you know we often do our own floral arrangements? Ask us about this for styling at your next event!

Using an outdoor tent allowed us to have a ceiling to decorate and keep the party going. These paper flags in the wind helped create a whimsical feel and brought the space to life!

To create the look of the Mexican tile wall, we used peel and stick wallpaper! This is such a simple  way to make our rental pieces fun and different every single time. Link here: 

The abundance of fun in this look demanded some crazy color in our balloon garland! Naomi is our balloon guru and masterfully created this stunning entrance to the tent. We think it sets the perfect tone before even stepping foot inside the party. 

Cassidy at That’s So Fringe understood the assignment and created the most incredible fringe wall! Again - we can’t get enough of the color and texture this piece added to the final look. 

Love the decor you’re seeing? With rentals from The Copper Quail, we took the authenticity up a notch by having real flatware and glassware to give this a more sophisticated look. We also found these incredible plates at Big Lots - of all places! Just goes to show the eye for design our team has.
